Water Repellent Belted Trench Coat with Removable Hood

I know a trench jacket is always in the list of the basic must-haves in a woman’s wardrobe. But I have managed to avoided buying any until this one. The reasons: I’m fairly short and thin, and prefer single breasted style over the double breasted. I very much dislike the the loop around the end of the sleeves, whether functional or both. I don’t even like dealing much with the belt loop. This one, which I ordered impulsively hank to Nordstrom ey return policy, accommodates all my preferences and dislikes. At 5’1, 92-95 pounds, the XXS fits me perfectly with some room to layer. The sleeves are a bit long but that’s easily altered not having to deal with the sleeve loops that I mentioned above, which this trench does not have. The belt loop isn’t cumbersome to deal with as it’s is part of the trench and attached to the back. Ingenious! It has a really nice sheen and seems good quality, especially at this price point. The hood is a nice bonus, but one that I don’t think needed. It doesn’t fit my head perfectly, but it’s detachable so I can remove it. I find the color is true to what’s showing on the site. The length hits at mid calf. Overall, I love this new purchase and look forward to wear it.
