I typically wear a size 6 - 6 1/2. I purchased a size 7. With regular socks on they feel a bit loose, but with thicker socks on they fit great. They're a bit snug around the ankle. If I purchased a smaller size I'm not sure I'd be able to get my foot in. Overall, fantastic boot for Seattle weather.

Got Them Today, Returning Today
As a PNW resident, I needed a rainboot that was waterproof and comfortable to walk 10+ city miles in-the cute style was a plus. When I got them, I immediately took them out of the box, put them on and they fit, so I started getting ready to take my dog for a easy 2 mile walk in the city. Then everything went down hill-they are tight around the outside ball of my foot, they pinched my toes together, then at the one mile mark the arches of my feet started to hurt. I do not have wide feet, and my toes normally fit in this style of toe box (angled/pointed) just fine. But these are just small, and it's not the kind of small that will be solved by going up a size.

Poor Quality- though very cute!!
Unfortunately, I've had these boots about a year now and they're just not made to last. I would not recommend to a friend.
The matte finish wears off easily, leaving shiny streaks where it once was (and looking slopping). There is hardly any traction(which you can tell from the bottom of the boot picture) and 1 year later any semblance of those ridges are gone making them like bowling shoes . The loops broke on both boots about a month in and just today where the elastic is glued to the rubber broke as I put them on. I'm not particularly rough or strange with shoes and have even tried to baby these as they have worn down.
On the plus side (and worth at least 2 stars!), I put some insoles in them and I think they are very comfortable, very cute and very versatile! They hardly look like rain boots. Even looking at the website now makes me kind of want to reorder them- but I'll resist. They're not worth it.
I would recommend that if you're only going to wear these when it rains and you live somewhere mostly dry/warm or plan to buy them for only a vacation to London or something they might be good enough for about a week or 2 of wear. Otherwise save your money.

Perfect!
I recently bought these rain booties and they're exactly what I wanted. They are tall enough that no rain gets in and a much better quality than the Jefferey Campbell ones most people have. I would highly recommend.

I wanted to love them
All 3 stars are for the very cute look and function of these boots. I love the shape of the toe box, the height of the shaft, and the matte black look is awesome. I tested them out on a rainy Seattle day and they kept my feet dry and toasty. However, knocking out 2 stars because I sadly cannot keep these. I'm usually a 6.5 in shoes, slightly wider than average foot, and went up to a 7 as recommended. After I had had the boots on for about 20 minutes my feet started going painfully numb. Like not the tingly numb, but the random shooting pains numb. I tried to hold out and wore them for about 2 hours at my office and couldn't deal anymore, thankfully I keep heels under my desk (yep, putting on heels was preferrable). They didn't feel bad on for the first few minutes and they were very comfy (that insole is great!), but I know that if I go up to an 8 there will be way too much room in the toe box.

Size 7.5
I'm a size 7.5 and the 7 was too tight, and the 8 was way too loose. Go figure. Why can't they make these in half sizes?
