Notch Collar Longline Wool Blend Coat

The Begonia Red is beautiful. It's a true blue red and not an orange red. I normally wear a medium/8. I got this in a 10 because I want to be able to wear sweaters under it but it is runs a bit small with zero give so I won't be able to wear thick sweaters. The fit is very flattering though. Very tailored. (See fit description below). I don't think the pictures do the coat justice. Per the video, it is a medium weight (I mean it was delivered in a plastic bag, not a box, so it's definitely not a thick winter coat) and, again, has no give. I gave it four stars instead of five because the sizing seems off and the pictures and video are misleading about the fit (which is Nordstrom's fault but I want customers to read before buying). The pics make it seem more like a loose fit and the woman in the video says it's "a more relaxed fit that is close to the body." I find those descriptions contradictory. I feel like the best representation of the fit is the last picture of the jacket where it is not on the model. I'm not sure it would be worth the full price but it's definitely worth the sale price.

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a chocolate brown wool coat (at least partially wool), fully lined and decently priced. I'm shocked at the number of designer coats out there that are sold for as much or more and are totally unlined and 100% polyester which means it's going to pill, not to mention super cheap quality. Not this coat though! It's a really nice quality and just molds to the body in a really flattering way. It doesn't flare out when left open either. I would say it's also true to size. I love the brown color and I feel like it really elevates my outfits. I also think it's a classic, timeless color and style so it's worth the cost.
