Lucca Loafer (Women)

I wear 8-8.5 , depending on the type of footwear. I already have a size 8 pair of this style , so ordered an 8 in the chocolate color. The length was perfect, but the width was too narrow. I wasn’t sure if they would stretch in any way and didn’t want to chance it, so returned them.For sure, I wouldn’t be able to wear socks with these shoes in cold weather.

These might be the most comfortable shoe, straight from the box, Super subtle leather. I can fit compression socks comfortably. It was a little loose without a sock. There is a hidden elastic strip under the tongue. I imagine this making the shoe flexible when my foot swells towards the end of the day. The ruching provides surplus soft leather wherever you need it. I do wish they were more stylish with a squared toe and had a slightly thicker sole and heel. They look a bit like for older men. But, because they are so comfortable, I give them 5 starts. Bring back more of the black and white Luca.
