Lucca Loafer

Material looks cheap in the red (Okay they call it French Burgundy Suede which is a fancy way of saying red). It was not the pretty soft shoe I was expecting. Looks cheap and they are rather snug.

I wear 8-8.5 , depending on the type of footwear. I already have a size 8 pair of this style , so ordered an 8 in the chocolate color. The length was perfect, but the width was too narrow. I wasn’t sure if they would stretch in any way and didn’t want to chance it, so returned them.For sure, I wouldn’t be able to wear socks with these shoes in cold weather.

I typically wear a 7.5 and haven’t worn a 7 comfortably since I had a kid eight years ago. I ordered these in 7.5 and they felt too big- slipped off the heel. I know they would only stretch more with wear. I returned for 7 and they are a perfect fit!

There is a seam that runs along the heel and inside of the shoe that scratches my foot. They unfortunately will have to go back even though they are super cute. Could maybe add a heel adhesive and make these work

I love this loafer. It definitely runs large though. I’m usually a size 8.5, but a 7.5 fit me perfectly. You won’t be disappointed with this shoe purchase.

These might be the most comfortable shoe, straight from the box, Super subtle leather. I can fit compression socks comfortably. It was a little loose without a sock. There is a hidden elastic strip under the tongue. I imagine this making the shoe flexible when my foot swells towards the end of the day. The ruching provides surplus soft leather wherever you need it. I do wish they were more stylish with a squared toe and had a slightly thicker sole and heel. They look a bit like for older men. But, because they are so comfortable, I give them 5 starts. Bring back more of the black and white Luca.
