Fitzgerald Kitten Heel Slingback Pump (Women)

If you looking a pair this season’s IT shoes, this is definitely the one. metallic silver, sling back, kitten heels. I really wanted to keep it, but unfortunately I have very narrow and small foot, I ordered size 5, in the hoping of it will run small, unfortunately it’s not. I’m true size 4.5, bummer!

This is an elegant, well made shoe that I had hoped was going to be both fashionable and consistent with my 2022 New Year’s resolution to only wear comfortable shoes. I tried it first in my usual 8.5 and it was a little tight across the vamp and through the toe. Ordering up to a 9.0 fixed that problem but not the wobble—combo of old ankle injury, sling back and cute but tiny surface area kitten heel. I was afraid I’d roll my ankle in any surfaces other than carpet. I am regretfully returning and hope that maybe a similar shoe with a blockier heel may come along. Four stars still because it’s a great, well-made, elegant shoe, just not going to work for me.

These shoes are gorgeous, but were painful in my regular size. I did not try half size up to see if this remedied the issue because I felt at this price point I would be trying to make them work. They are stunning so if you are considering them, just get them. They may work better for you and if not you can return them.
