Narrow but lengthwise sizing is right
I am solid 7.5 and rarely 8 (usually is Italian shoes) but I have pretty narrow feet. These are quite narrow since they fill snug on my feet which hardly ever happens. But they are almost true to size in terms of length. I started with 8 based on reviews and they were soooo long. I went down to 7.5 and even ordered 7. Lengthwise 7 feels better but they're tiny bit too narrow around toes (even though there's still enough space lengthwise) while 7.5 feels good widthwise and a tiny bit too long. I'll probably keep 7 since they should stretch a bit. Otherwise these look great and feel fantastic. They're pretty soft and have a bit of cushion under the heel. Hopefully they'll last long enough. Definitely recommend if you can find a right fit!

Unable to "break in"
These are adorable and they make a nice tapping sound BUT THESE SHOES HAVE CAUSED ME THE WORST ANKLE BLISTERS in my entire 24 years of life!! On 3 separate occasions, each spaced weeks apart, I attempted to break them in and each time I'm left with painful blisters on both ankles - after wearing them for 1 hour. The leather is SO rigid and it seems impossible to soften. Even with socks on, these still create blisters. Please DO NOT BUY if you do not have time/patience to break them in. I'd add a photo of my blisters but it's gross.

Nice, but ran big
The shoes are super comfy with a squishy insole and look great, but unlike other reviewers my size 9 was big. Longer and wider than most. I even double checked the box and shoe to make sure there was not a mix up because I always wear a 9 or 9.5. Going to try an 8.5.

Cute but not for me
I like the look of these loafers as they were more substantial than some of the others that I looked at, but in the end they didn’t quite fit me right with the width being too wide, and they didn’t quite flex when I took a walk as I expected them to. Not stiff, just different.

cute but not comfy
I wanted to love them but they have a wierd seem along the exterior of the insole that rubbed my feet when I tried them on and felt like it would give me blisters.

Beautiful, but tight squeeze
Great color and well made. Not quite big enough. If you're just barely a 10, get a 10.
