Vara Pump

I have them in several colors. Personally I think the original fabric satin bow looks better than the patent leather one. They are narrow enough for my feet but overall still very comfortable. The Vera runs a little large (long) while the Varina is more true to size.

These are adorable, comfortable and very attention getting. The Italian workmanship shows. (You can spot the sad blocky look fakes a mile away). I bought the Bisque and the buckle is very rich and shiny. I own 4 pair of SF Vara and the buckles vary with the style but all mine are shiny and beautiful. The Vara isn't for everyone. This style has shown up in other labels like Tory Burch. (I have the TB black quilted with the gold cap toe). This style isn't for every woman. As another costumer put it they can look "old lady" on the wrong woman. And I have heard that petite women are afraid of looking schoolmarmish in them but I have seen petite fashionistas rock them. But if you take delight in pulling off a look other women can't wear you will love the Vara. Anyone can look hot in stacked platform stilettos - for as long as she can stand in them. You don't look pretty if you are limping. In the Vara you stand out without looking like you are trying too hard and you can wear them all day. When I saw the block heel come back first on the ankle strap sandals it was a visual relief after years of heels getting ridiculously taller and taller. The Vara look very good paired with something unexpected like jean overalls but they look great with jeans, khaki shorts, capris and of course dresses.

Beautiful, elegant and very comfortable shoes. Shining leather finishing makes you feel like a princess. Go with both formal and casual dresses, heels in perfect height, neither flat nor too high. Expensive but totally worth it. I bought both black and beige color.

For Years I have worn this shoe & bought it in every fashion colour that came seasonally to the Tysons Corner, Va Flagship store! Sadly seasonal high fashion season colours & nubucks & patents were discontinued many years ago! Now, I see the Vara has returned to many stores . But sadly, I can not purchase any--NO store carries Vara in size 11 NARROW in any colour selection.! (No, not even San Frans A. Beren's! ) Am I the ONLY 11 Narrow.....? I KNOW I am NOT--according the Nordstrom's sales associates! But the buyers won't listen to them ."if I had it in 11 N I'd sell a ton of them" is what I hear at all stores ! This VARA Ferragamo shoe is comfortable, stylish, classic, sophisticated, and goes with everything from jeans to gala wear! It goes from morning till evenings; Including on Mass transit, sidewalk walking, professional standing careers, dancing, and every place else! Please bring it back for those of us who always counted on finding shoes at the OLD Nordstrom's business ethic that started as a shoe haven for those of us with hard to fit feet! I mourn not having any shoes to wear! (and I wont tell you how many times my classic collection of Varas have been resoled!) Barefoot in DC

I got the New Bisque Patent color and the shoes are fantastic! You can wear the shoes with skinny jeans or a conservative dress for the office. The width may be a bit narrow, because I think I have narrow feet and the shoe fits me perfectly. The heels are very very comfortable and appropriate for walking around in the city.

I buy good shoes. This Ferragamo pump has been around a long time, and is a timeless classic. The Quarzo Fume calf leather is a beautiful rosy neutral. Unfortunately the toe box is not high enough for my toes, and the next size up is too long for my foot. Sadly, I returned them.
