I ordered the Whispers bc it was recommended for a wider foot in comparison to the XT6s. Ordered in my usual 6.5, they were way too big. Sized down to a 6 in women’s, they’re perfect and super comfy. Love the neutral colors.

HORRIBLE tread, extremely slippery!!
I want to love these shoes so bad. I’m a loyal Salomon customer and have loved everything I’ve purchased (XT ultra 5s are the best hiking shoe ever). The XT-whispers though are insanely slippery for some reason? I slip like I’m in a cartoon slipping on a banana peel - I’ve never experienced something like this before. I’m not even wearing these shoes for technical activity, I’m wearing these shoes to walk in my garage to get in the car to go commute to my desk job. It barely rained for a minute and I slipped and fell outside on the pavement, I slipped inside a restaurant somehow on dry flooring, it’s absolutely ridiculous. These shoes aren’t even worn in either, I’ve had them for a month and have fallen on every single wear.

extremely high arch
I’m so disappointed because I’m really in love with these shoes, however towards the back of the foot they get very narrow and have a very high arch. I would say I have a very normal arch and this is just way too high for me. I think if they came in a wide that would solve my problem.

Best pair of shoes I own
These are hands down the most comfortable shoes I own. I get stopped all the time by people asking where they’re from. I just wish they didn’t sell out so quickly because I would’ve definitely bought a second pair.
