Toy Loulou Matelassé Leather Crossbody Bag

I love that the strap is adjustable and removable! The dark beige is very pretty in person, less orangy/gold than the photos shown. It’s hard to capture the color because of lighting. Small enough to hold all the essentials, fits my H silk-in compact wallet, car & house keys. Chapstick & lipgloss, eye drops (contact wearer problems). It could fit a pair of sunglasses but you won’t be able to close the flap.

I love this bag…. The leather is gorgeous, can be dressed up or just casual, gets compliments. However it doesn’t fit my iPhone 13+. I switched to a slim phone case and I can *sorta* get it in there, but since I don’t want to stretch or damage the bag, I rarely put my phone inside. If it were just a couple centimeters bigger, it would be perfection.

You cannot go wrong with this classic bag! It has enough room for a card case, but you don’t even need one, as there is one built in. There are also straps to wear this as a crossbody or over the shoulder. It’s the perfect size for going out and the gold hardware is brushed and very chic. Also, my iPhone fits with room to spare. I know some smaller purses aren’t able to fit a phone. I’m very pleased with the convenience, style, and durability of the bag. It is sturdy and feminine.

I love that this version has the adjustable strap! I was disappointed when Saint Laurent changed the toy Loulou and went to a fixed-length strap. I thought maybe the pictures online were incorrect, but in fact, they ARE accurate. I now bought the cream and black/silver colors.

This is my first YSL bag and I’m loving it. It’s small enough to tote my iPhone 12, keys, lipgloss, sunglasses and a card case (but there’s already one built in). The leather is soft and beautiful. This is a beautiful addition to my luxury bag collection and such a classic piece. I bought this for the summer to throw on as I go and move about with the kids. This bag will easily be my go to as it can be dressed up or down. Looking to get a black one soon!

Ordered this Lou Lou 2 weeks ago in black/gold hardware as a gift to myself, was everything I expected! I’ve been eyeing this bag for a couple years but never pulled the plug because YSL stopped offering the adjustable strap….it’s back I guess! Leather is soft & hardware is gorgeous, can’t speak on the durability just yet as it’s new. Great size for me, fits my iPhone 11, card case, keys, & everything I need on a daily basis. If you’re considering at all….GET IT!!!
