Toy Loulou Leather Crossbody Bag

I was a little worried about purchasing this bag because I was mainly seeing negative reviews with no images. WELL am I glad I decided to go against the majority and get this little lovely!! I’m 5’2”, and even though the strap is not adjustable, I am content with the length. Since the strap is removable, there is a lot of versatility as to how this bag could be worn. Don’t even get me started about the storage! It actually holds quite a lot! The second photo I posted is everything that was in the bag when it was photographed in the first photo! And this bad boy is DURABLE! I was stuck on three flights and 3 different airport transfers in the span of 12 hours with this little guy as my carry on, and you wouldn’t even know it.

I do really like this bag, but I’m not in love with it. I knew it had a small capacity when I bought it, but boy is it. I only have my phone (iPhone X), my keys, my reading glasses and a card holder in it. It does have handy pockets for additional storage which compensates for the lack of space. For me, the strap is the biggest issue. The strap is thin and unsubstantial. It needs a chain, like the larger Lou Lou’s. It’s too short for me to use as a crossbody, but it can be modified to make the bag a wristlet, which is great. The biggest drawback for me is the attaching hardware that connect the strap to the bag. Twice I’ve been getting into it and one has unhooked and the bag has fallen to the ground. Not ideal for a bag with a magnetic closure or if you live in a wet climate.

My expectations were exceeded!! This bag is plush and small yet designed really well for organization. I can fit two SLGs (Alexander McQueen envelope card holder and LV monogram reverse card holder), my iPhone X, a chaptick, a little mirror, LV monogram four key holder (for size reference), and even my Airpods and a pair of sunglasses. They ALL fit. The bag expands a little, but not to the point where it's bulging or looks misshapen. I love the feel of the leather and it hangs comfortably down to about my waist (height is 5'5). This one is well worth every cent.

Hands down this is the perfect everyday bag, comfortable leather strap doesn't dig in shouders. Fits my accordian card case from LV my Dior balm, a sample parfume,car fob, Chanel compact mirror, and small travel hand lotion. And some has space for more. This is all I need on an everyday basis also it doesn't scream designer. It's soft and supple goes with Every outfit day to night. Trap is the perfect lengh for me but it also is adjustable. I'm 5.3' athletic built. Lady's this bag remind me of the Chanel Square that's hard to get but this one has all the functions of a Chanel quare & a removable strap. I'm really enjoying this classic cutie!

I really thought I would love this bag. I wanted to love it. The leather wasn’t as smooth as other lambskin leather. The chain is not my favorite. I was hoping it would look a little bit fancier in real life. But it didn’t. If I was to keep the bag, I’d probably have to get some matching metal chain but I couldn’t find a black one that I like. Unfortunately I returned the bag.
