Small Sac de Jour Tote

This is such a beautiful and timeless handbag and i so wanted to love it. If the handles were just a little bit longer or the strap felt sturdier, it would have been perfect despite the weight. The leather is beautiful and thick, which adds to the weight. A surface laptop doesn’t fit as the bag opening is a smidge too small.

Bought this as my diaper bag for baby. Was going to get the next size up but that was just too heavy. The Small is a perfect size (I added the SavvyTote small insert to hold bottles/diapers) and the tumbled leather is great for being malleable enough to hold lots of stuff without losing its shape. The shoulder strap was key for me - very few bags of this size allow for a "hands free" option. Having a shoulder strap evenly distributes the weight rather than tugging on one shoulder all the time. I adore this bag. Super chic yet understated and versatile.

I love love love this bag! My husband got this for me as a present in black, and to my surprise i like it even more than the structured original style! I had my eye on the more structured original sac de jour, but once i tried this one i fell in love. This bag is spacious and perfect to dress up and dress down. The slouchy look makes it more wearable even as a great everyday bag or a work bag. But the beauty of it is that you can also dress it up! It’s spacious enough for travel which is a bonus. The only little downside was that it wasn’t delivered with a dust bag, but i called Nordstrom and they shipped one out to me immediately free of charge, so kudos to Nordstrom for great customer service. All in all, I’m obsessed with this classic piece and it’s a great addition to my collection! I can’t say it enough, I’m in LOVE with this bag!
