Small Loulou Matelassé Calfskin Shoulder Bag

Just got this bag in store at the Nordstrom holiday party and it’s seriously beautiful. I usually look for understated logos (or better yet, none), but the black on black is so chic and not in your face. Love the quilted leather, it’s beautifully cushioned which makes it look lux. The pull through strap is super practical and I plan to wear it both crossbody and on my shoulder. I have some curves and it looks good both ways on me (some bags are too short crossbody on curves, or too tight under your arm, neither issue is relevant here). I chose this size because I think it will work well for both day and night, and I’m so happy I could get my hands on it in store!

Black on black is so chic and goes with everything gold, silver- no stress! Looks good with white black brown grey and all colors. It fits all the essentials- the small is not too small and can be used daily but not too big that it can be used at night. In love with this bag and glad it came with a dust bag although I wish it came in a nice ysl box too. Leather is soft- but not too soft. I feel like I am telling the story of the three bears lol. This bag is just right!

I love this new purse! Started using it the day I unpacked it from the shipping carton. It is the perfect size, can be a crossbody, and holds more than I expected. The leather is so soft, but I do not have to “baby” this purse either. The black chain and logo make the purse edgy yet also classic with the quilted design. This is my first YSL purchase. Already looking at getting another color or the college style.

The purse arrived and is absolutely beautiful. But when one pays this much money on a luxury item $3k you expect it to show up with all of the bells and whistles. The purse arrived with no paper wrapping on chain or any paper inside of purse either. Plus no blue plastic tabs on buttons. It had the authenticity card and price tag thrown in. It was delivered inside of the SL dust bag and placed inside of a plastic bag. I own quite a few luxury purses and was surprised at the lack of attention given to shipping. I did return it and this was one reason. I ended up buying the SL toy loulou. For reference I am 5’4” and weigh 127. The small was too big or me.
