Rive Gauche Canvas Pouch

At first I was on the fence about this color and the nero color. After receiving it I love the noir color for several reasons. First the size is perfect for everyday wear and has plenty of room for your essentials. The inner zipper pocket is perfect for all your cards as well with black interior lining. Second the noir color can hide any stains if you plan on using it everyday if something does stain it by mistake. Although I will be very careful that does not happen. The lighter color, while beautiful, can show a stain so I would say it is great for going to casual places time to time however I plan to use this constantly so I have to be mindful of wear and tear and something possible spilling on it. Lastly the fabric is thick and durable and the stitching very secure. All in all I love this pouch and color. The noir color will serve me everyday whereas the lighter color I have to be careful of something staining it. You can go wrong with either color but keep in mind how you plan to use it.

This pouch is surprisingly versatile. The material is expandable- more so than many leather pouches- so it holds a great deal, and the size is perfect for bags of all kinds. It's size actually helps give bags structure and shape, which I like. The only downside is that the canvas really attracts fur, hair, and lint, so your space has to be immaculate or else it will require constant lint brush applications to look good.

I received the item and it looks like it was previous used or returned. It was covered in white fuzz. Did not come with any YSL authentication cards or box. It looks like either mine was returned or used previously. For the price point, it’s good, but will return and order from YSL directly. Makes me sad because I was excited to use it.
