Pebble Grain Leather Zip Wallet

I'd describe this card holder as minimalist, sleek and compact. I had another zip card case that was getting stretched out due to all the cards I had in it and it was hard to find the cards in it, so I liked that this one had exterior slots for easy access. I like that's it's really compact so it fits in even the smallest of bags. However, be aware that it's really narrow, so you can't fit too much in the zip portion. So you're limited to the number of cards you can fit in, which is difficult in this day and age when you carry not just the essentials but all the store/gym membership cards, etc. That's why I gave it 4 stars.

I've been looking for a card case that has is 1) durable, 2) has capacity for more than the usual 3 or so cards, and 3) was less expensive than some other designer brands in my collection. I wanted something slim and small, but didn't want to worry about remembering different cards or gift cards at different times. I have 10 cards in this case (5 in the slots and 5 in the zip pouch), and it's still super slim. It's small enough to fit in a mini bag but large enough that it doesn't get lost in my larger bags. The grained leather is very high quality and will definitely hold up over time. It was a bit stiff at first, but with use it's softening a little. I was fine with the initial stiffness; I took it as a sign that the leather would last. The zipper is smooth, but due to the narrow, shallow pouch plus stiff leather, you do have to make sure your cards are pushed down in the pouch or the zipper will catch. Not a problem for me. Overall, you can beat SL's quality at this price point. I'm thrilled!

I liked this card wallet however the logo comes off after a year. Tried to return it due to poor quality and was basically dismissed by the staff and nothing they can do. Don’t waste you money on this one and the staff won’t even help you when you, they just smile and say sorry. You’re left when a wallet you could have bought on Amazon

After 6-8 months of using this wallet, not in an overly rough way at all, the “SAINT LAURENT PARIS” label had completely rubbed off. The pebbled leather is great, because it holds its structure well and doesn’t scratch, but who wants to pay almost $400 for a designer item where the label rubs off? I liked this wallet because I like designer items that are more subtle than the big oversized logos (just my personal preference) but it’s not worth the price if it won’t even last a year. I returned this, but did wind up finding a version with the YSL initials hardware, but a black on black, so I could maintain my preferred subtlety. I’ll definitely be wary of purchasing anything with printed/painted logos from Saint Laurent moving forward. They don’t last, and they also aren’t embossed into the leather beneath the printing, so professionally retouching them (which you shouldn’t have to do anyway) would be super risky to get done accurately. No thanks.
