Medium Cassandra Calfskin Leather Satchel

I really wanted a saint laurent bag and most of the styles I saw were quilted or small bags with chain strap. I even got the Vicky bag but seemed too flashy for me even though I love shiny gold . I felt the ysl logo was too big. Trend is very much is huge logo bags and I was definitely wanted one. At the Nordstrom store I was shown Cassandra bag in ostrich blue color. It had the same brass logo and opening made me so excited. You twist the L towards right and YS part pops up. Price was twice as much because it was an exotic . I had to make some research and find out this was a brand new style and they had many variations ( suede / leather combos ) clutch style and so on . I found this bag at one of the Nordstrom locations and first I was not happy because size seemed small but further inspection it is absolute perfect size . You can fit full size wallet , keys , sunglasses with case . Lipstick , even more room. It has two compartments inside with 1 slot Inside for cards . No zippered compartment but that was ok . Also inside is burgundy color and when you lift the lid it has saint Laurent Paris writing . Also in the back there is a compartment for phone that fix my iPhone max . There is nothing more silly having a bag and carrying your stuff in your hands . This bag is very functional . The straps are removable however I haven’t figure out how yet . I also like unlike chain straps it doesn’t dig into your chest or shoulder . Very light and feels good . Tried it many ways , crossbody , hand held, shoulder length . Looked good every way. Also I don’t like putting my bags on floor . I like that I can put it on top of table or side of my chair. I just feel like this is kind of bag that will not get out of style and always remain classic. I think saint laurent really knocked it out park with this one! Most special part is the way it opens with L being twisted, totally cute . Nordstrom customer service is also always exceptional.
