Matelassé Leather Belt Bag

I own a few “tiny” bags, and this one is no exception. It is clearly as described, the size is no different than a card holder on chain, except the strap is not favorable. It DOES fit a few cards inside, as well as a chapstick, jewelry, etc. The price is not at all unusual for YSL of this size (read the description people), so please familiarize yourself with this brand before crying wolf. Otherwise, save up the extra money and get a full size purse, not a belt bag. That being said, I’d recommend trying this on in store, the strap is not very long if you plan to wear it as a crossbody, but the strap can be a little too long in length for a (high waisted) belt. YSL can poke holes in the strap upon request too. Otherwise, this bag is adorable for casual outings when you want to go hands free without it looking bulky/giant sitting on your hips or waist.

Do not buy this for a purse unless you are minimalist. I bought specifically because i wanted it to hold my inhaler. It's perfect for it. Now to clarify: This is a belt bag which can DOUBLE as a crossbodg. The price difference another reviewer gave was because they look identical except the strap. So one is the crossbody and one is the belt bag is more. Also it has 2 chain pieces that attach with an adjuster piece. If you want it longer or shorter you just remove. Depending on how you want to wear or how your body fits... You can adjust. As belt you can have it short with taking that extra piece to also make it long enough for a crossbody.

I swear the price of these bags went up. One of the bag was $1,250 and now $1,450 and I thought I was tripping. Now this bag is the same. I bought just last week was $750 now $895 omg really? By the way it didn’t work out because the belt way too long even with the adjustment. My waist size 25 and it still way too long. I give the style 5 star but to increased the price? Not sure 5 star worth it lol

LOVE this bag! It is different because it is a crossbody BUT it is also a belt bag. There is an extra strap that converts it to be able to be worn on the waist. With the extra strap you are able to control the length also as a crossbody. I am not a fan of mini bags but this one is perfect because it fits my asthma inhaler! most mini bags don't they are the size for airpods which limits what you can put inside. This one keeps it's body shape but also fits my inhaler which is bulky along with a lip balm, cash, cards, etc. I love this size and style! highly recommend. Not that much of a price difference from the crossbody so look for this belt bag!
