Gorgeous crossbody evening bag!
I'm so surprised by the negative reviews of this bag.
I've been on the hunt for ages for a crossbody evening bag that I could dress up or down. I've purchased at least 4-5 and returned them. I love the YSL rectangular bags but I know so many people that have them at this point. I was in Nordstrom this weekend and this one caught my eye. The sales associate said that the shape is a new one so I gave it a try and loved the way it lays when worn crossbody. Unlike another reviewer, I really like that the chain is more of a muted brass and not a super shiny yellow gold. I will admit this is a pretty small bag (eg, no sunglasses), but I can easily fit my card case, my iphone 8, some lipstick and car keys, which is all I really need in the evenings anyway. Plus that way it doesn't get too heavy. My favorite feature of this bag is the extended panel of leather that's on the chain. I have long hair and find chain straps to be uncomfortable but the long leather piece on this one makes it super comfortable on the shoulders/back and no tangling in my hair!

Beautiful - but won't fit iphone

Color is off
I bought this bag in the Crema Soft color because I have been wanting a cream/ivory bag for awhile. However, the color is more of a beige/taupe. The color doesn’t look good when worn against white or even a true cream color. Different lighting makes the color of the bag look different. Also, the inside of the bag is much smaller then how it appears to look like. If you have an iphone X pro Max it will not fix no matter what. I ended up exchanging it for another bag. Wish YSL would make this bag slightly bigger to fit all essentials, and make a better cream colored bag

Pefect small cross body bag!
This bag looks even better in person. I went to the YSL store to try it on to make sure my phone fits. I have the iphone XS and it fits perfectly. It holds your phone, card holder, lipstick, and keys. I am 5'8 and it works as a cross-body. I got the white and I can't wait to rock this at concerts and summer events. FYI this bag does NOT fit any plus size phones.

brassy not true gold color logo
the gold logo and chain is so brassy unlike their other bags. I really wanted to like this bag too.
