'80s Vanity Case Matelassé Leather Shoulder Bag

Why, why, why cant this bag be a crossbody? I wanted a Saturday night maybe dancing kinda bag. Unfortunately this is a Thursday night nice dinner kinda bag. Perfect in every way minus strap length. Unfortunately she is being returned to store. Truly isn’t her its me. We are just not in the same place at the same time.

I fell in love with this purse the moment I saw it online. It's very cute BUT as previous reviews say, the strap is very short, making it a bit uncomfortable. It's a great size and has plenty of space. However, the natural shape of the bag makes the zippers a bit difficult to manipulate. So if you need to open or close it quickly, its not possible. Sadly, I will be returning it. If the strap had been longer (making it a crossbody) i would keep it.

This is A SHOULDER BAG!! It Even says so in the title. If you wear the bag as it’s intended to be worn it’s nice and beautiful. Ladies, Plz work on your reading skills. If you're getting this because you want to wear this as a crossbody, buy it in store so you can try it on first, but again.. this is a shoulder bag! Also, it Fits a phone! I think it’s a great bag.

I adore this YSL bag. I bought it in the dark blue, what a striking color against the aged gold hardware. Although it’s not a perfect length for crossbody on me I can still be wear that way but mostly I wear as a shoulder bag or hand held or in the crook of my arm. The strap is adjustable. It’s very well made and the leather is textured, substantial, quilted, it’s just perfect and It holds a lot. I love that it doesn’t look like all the vanity bags around, it’s uniquely beautiful.

I didn't want to love this bag but I do. The quilted leather elevates the bag. It is small but it will fit a small wallet, lipstick, powder and my phone. The cross body strap is a little short but you can still ware it cross body. That is why I gave it four stars. There is a pocket on the inside. It will be great for travel.
