Saige Mid Rise Wide Leg Jeans

I wear an 8 to 10 in pants or jeans usually. My hips are 43 inches. A size 30 is usually my go to. The brand said if you’re in between sizes then size up, which is what I did to a 31 and they are too big in the waist. For reference my waist, natural waist that is, is a 33. These are high waisted pants and I definitely could’ve stayed with a size 30 and I’m even debating about sizing down to a 29. They do have some stretch to them, which is why I’m considering the 29. A 29 might be too tight in the hips and butt though. They are a soft denim. not too thick not too thin. doable in the summer heat. I picked these jeans out because of the loose fit all the way from the hip to ankle with a bell bottom look, and I didn’t realize there’s a fringed seam that runs the length of the pant. It adds to the cuteness of the pant. I am 54 for reference, and these barely grace The ground. will be able to wear them with half inch flip-flops and be fine.
