Eden Sequin Midi Dress

Ivory Sequin midi dress

I purchased a few dresses for an upcoming gala with a cocktail attire dress code, and I was most looking forward to this dress. Shipping took almost 10 days, so all of my other options had arrived (and some even returned) during that time. Unfortunately, this dress has no shape to it- it is a rectangle all the way down and almost billows out in the middle, unflattering to the stomach area. While the texture is nice and the subtle shine of the sequins is lovely, the color is a little more cream, and there were threads and snags throughout. It is also very long; I’m 5’8” and it reached lower shin. The size is forgiving; I’m typically a 2, sometimes 4 with my chest, and I had more room than expected. Overall the concept is nice and I really hoped it would work for my event, but this dress missed the mark and alterations would be expensive, if not impossible.
