Heavenly Satin Chemise

I like this piece, but I had to return it twice. I measure 42-32-44, 34G cup. I ordered a large originally and it fit everywhere except my bust. I thought perhaps perhaps XL would work but it was still much too small, and wouldn't allow the cowl neck to drape properly. I was afraid if I ordered any larger it would swamp the rest of my body. Unfortunately, skip this piece if you're busty!

So, I received these (chemise in 2x, and robe in 3x), as gifts just before Christmas. Not sure if they were bought here, or not. The chemise worked for me. I'm a C cup. I think the logic used by the person who did the purchasing was: she is a C cup, below the bodice doesn't seem to be quite as fitted as the bodice; she is going to need more room around the waist in the robe. Main issue I took with the robe was the sleeves were a bit longer than I felt they should be, though I've gotten over that. I actually do enjoy this set quite well. It's held up. It feels nice. I like to sit and do my make-up in these.

I bought this for my wedding day getting ready outfit and was pretty disappointed with the quality. “Ivory” is a true white, not yellow-undertone ivory. The cowl neck on top is unfinished, so it just kinda flops around. If you tuck towards the bust, it shows thru on the outside (not ideal). Also runs SMALL. I’m a size 6 and wore a Large comfortably. Definitely not cut for curves!

I bought this to use as a slip. I like the satin feel, wider straps and nipped-in waistline. I am typically a 32 DD. I notice a slight pull across the chest, that may or may not be part of the aesthetic. Even if not, it’s not enough to bother with a return. It suits my purposes. I plan to wear it happily.
