Ruffle Scuba Knit Gown

I wore this gown for my son’s wedding and it was so comfortable and very flattering for my curvy shape. The only thing that threw me off was the hem of the dress is a raw cut. Nordstrom alterations said that this is how this scuba type fabric typically is finished on the bottom. Just know that at the end of the night the bottom hem was frayed from rubbing the floor. This wasn’t a problem for me because I loved the dress but would have to go get it shortened again if I were to wear it again. Size was typical for formal gown on me.

I was scrambling to find a dress for two black tie weddings—-the first one on 12/13/25. Was finding it challenging until i stumbled upon this dress online. The fabric is very forgiving of lumps and the dress is comfortable, chic and flattering. The back of the dress was slightly too long but it’s an unfinished hem in the back. It was super easy to simply cut off an inch—no problem, no alteration. This was my first formal long dress, and i couldn’t have loved wearing this one more. Highly recommend.
