Ruby Halter Shirtdress

I really wanted to like this but had to return it. Im 5'3" , 125#. The fabric is pretty (embroidered eyelet) but together with the lining makes it on the heavier side. The problem for me was that the bodice was too long for my torso. As it sat on my hips the skirt part poofed out making it look like a princess skirt and the arm holes gaped. But when I lifted the top portion from the shoulders. The arm holes lay flatter and the skirt portion "lifted" off my hips , making the fabric drape slimmer . Hope that makes sense. It would definitely be flattering on someone with longer torso.

The size guidelines were not accurate. I ordered my regular size 6 ; it didn’t fit. I ordered a medium, it didn’t fit.
