What it is: A transfer-proof lipstick with a bare-lip feel that delivers ultra-pigmented color and a matte finish for couture makeup looks..

What it does: The first transfer-proof bullet lipstick from Dior makeup, Rouge Dior Forever dresses the lips in ultra-pigmented color and an intense matte finish. Concentrated in floral lip care ingredients, the formula delivers weightless long wear and luxurious comfort.

Key ingredients:

- Red peony extract helps maintain deep hydration

- Jojoba derivative helps optimize comfort

How to use: Prep your lips by using Addict Lip Glow Scrub (sold separately) for a perfectly smooth canvas. To enhance definition, line the lips with the Dior Contour lip pencil (sold separately) in the same shade as the lipstick. Apply Rouge Dior Forever directly to lips and let dry for 3 minutes for the color to set and to maximize the transfer-proof benefit. Be sure to close the cap after use to preserve the potency of the formula.

Perfect Shade of Red
I have been looking for the perfect red lipstick, I bought this one (999) and Anastasia Beverly Hills which is matte. I tested this one out at dinner at home as I had a mishap with Fenty (it spread all over my face, don’t buy it). This is a lightweight formula, is not dying and stays put. There was some wear after chicken masala but it made it through dinner with flying colors!

Nope, not this time Dior
I generally love Dior lipsticks. I have close to 6-7 Dior lipsticks. They are great in terms of shade range and formula. But this one just missed the mark, and by a long shot at that. The lipstick was transfer-proof when I tested on the back of my hand. That warrants the one star. But the lipstick crumbled and stuck to my teeth, and was a nightmare to remove from my teeth. It also just lifted straight off my lips when I drank water from a glass. Didn't last at all! So disappointed.

the color was very neutral and pretty. The packaging is lovely and luxurious. Now the cons. Immediately, it felt so dry on the lips and on application. It was not super smooth to apply, and more than one swipe helps but layers too much pigment. On its own, the color is beautiful, but it makes my lips look so dry and pronounces every single line in my lips. However…i love the color.
