What it does: ROUGE ALLURE LAQUE is infused with two types of polymers to preserve color intensity and help lock in hydration. The water-resistant formula features a creamy, fluid texture that glides on smoothly and lasts up to 12 hours (in a clinical evaluation).
How to use: Use the special doe-foot applicator to define your lip contours then fill in with color.

I left a raving review about laques when they were initially released. But over the time they became pretty disappointing.
No.1 problem for me is that they transfer. And they are not long lasting.
It’s a shame Chanel never worked on improvising the formula, because they do have some pretty shades.

Drying and dull
I felt that this was beautiful on my hand but when applied to my lips it was drying and not as pretty as I thought it would be. Color disappeared in less than an hour with a few sparkles left. Not for me. Due to it being overly costly for what you get I'm going to MAKE it work by applying a gloss on top.

color pretty but dry
I was excited about the shine and color of this. Bought Avantguardiste. But after a few minutes my lips felt dry and stiff. I think the color may stay more and that’s why but I wanted more lip glossy feel and not the feel of the duo one. Returned.
