Rosie Butterfly & Floral Print Pleated Cotton Button-Up Shirt

This top is gorgeous! I love the bright beautiful print and embroidered collar. I'm a size 4-6, 34D, athletic, and I normally wear a size small in most tops. I opted to go with a medium in this one based on prior reviews. The bust and shoulders fit great, but the waist is definitely cut slimmer than the rest of the top. The silhouette angles more tapered, and bc it's 100% cotton, there's no stretch. I feel like if I size up to a large to get a little more wiggle room in the waist, it will be too big overall. So I've decided to keep the medium and I just wear it with high waisted jeans and leave the bottom button undone. It actually looks cute like that. So this one's a keeper for me.

When I saw this top I had to have it. It is stunning! The details are gorgeous and this can be worn casually or dressed up! I will say though that the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it runs a full size small. So if you are planning on purchasing I would advise to go up a size. Other than that it is perfection.

This is. a lovely top. I love it but I’m not in love. Something makes me wonder if this will hold the charm beyond this season. There is something about the style, pattern, craftsmanship level that leans “fast fashion.” For the price, I need to see more depth, creativity, less dated puff sleeve, less common print as seen everywhere else this season. I expect unique beauty and depth from Alice & Olivia and donn’t feel that lives here in this top. I also would love to see the puff sleeve retired for a while to allow for a more modern innovative structural scaffold to a top.
