At first spray it’s very strange and takes you off guard. I had to decide if it was a scent I even liked. However, once the fragrance settles it gives a mature but elegant aroma. Also, it last unlike many parfumes. Would recommend for those who like woody and earthy scents like me!

Beautiful Fragrance!
Incredibly beautiful scent—here’s a fragrance that I never thought I could love! After wearing Aromatics Elixir for 45 years, I went on the hunt to find a new fragrance since the AE had changed and was no longer the same. Was in the DT Seattle store when Anthony in Fine Fragrances gave me a sample of the Rose & Cuir perfume. For some reason, I was drawn to it—and I’m not a fan of rose scented anything ( except for the real thing). So, once it became available on-line, I purchased a bottle and am so thrilled that I did. This may sound strange, but the scent of this perfume is very comforting to me. Five stars and more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I will give it a few stars! I think the fragrance is perfectly executed in smell and what the perfumers where trying to create. Unfortunately it's not too my appeal. Always great customer service with Nordstrom.

A Red Banger
This is not your standard, commercial, appeal-to-the-masses fragrance. This is personal; I tried it several times before deciding I liked it. It is reminiscent of a damp March garden, around when foliage begins to awaken, the promise and hope that comes with renewal. I don't get much sweetness, nor is it a projecting floral rose. This one is green, earthy, and perhaps resinous or smoky? Rarely does my husband comment on my smell, either good or bad, but the one time he said that I smelled good was during Rose and Cuir's dry down.
