The denim fabric is more expensive than the other fabrics for $288! That’s what’s up with the price difference!!!!!

Not flattering
I had hopes for this dress for travel as it was light weight denim fabric and seemed versatile. Unfortunately the fit was extremely shapeless and even with a low belt, scarf, and other accessories, it was...dumpy. The back of the dress is cut very loose...so much so that it "poofs" out. Perhaps I purchased too large of a size, but then the sleeves and the buttons across the rest wouldn't have fit. (I bought a large.) I really loved the fabric, color and idea, but it didn't work. It seems odd to say, but perhaps if you are a smaller person, the dress might look great. That usually isn't the case with a shirtdress.

Rory in famous denim is fabulous
The Frank & Eileen Rory dress is available in 3 fabrics: The Famous denim costs are higher to produce than with linen or the lightweight cotton offerings. That’s why prices can vary within the same style of F&E items. They’re expensive but high quality-you’re also paying for made in America. Love this brand, I plan to buy as much as possible:)
