What it is: An ultimate organic cream that not only removes your most stubborn makeup but can also be used as a facial cleanser and moisturizer.

What it does: Coconut oil is considered one of the healthiest oils on earth thanks to its high levels of lauric acid, which gives the oil its antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial properties. Suitable for even the most blemish-prone skin, it naturally protects against free-radical damage and premature aging, nourishes skin, hair and lashes and even helps soothe sunburn.
How to use: Apply a minimal amount and work the cream gently into the skin. Remove with a soft cloth. Use as a body moisturizer to soften dry elbows, knees, shoulders or all over. Allow it to absorb before dressing. It even works as a deodorant or a hair treatment. Avoid using it under makeup as it will cause your skin to look very shiny. Note that is is normal for your RMS Beauty Coconut Cream to liquefy at higher temperatures during the warmer months but it will solidify once more when room temperatures drop. This has no negative effect on its quality and it can be used in either form.

I started using the raw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the raw coconut cream as a cleanser when I experienced some terrible acne and angry skin. My regular products turned on me. Knowing the medicinal properties of coconut cream, I decided to see if it would calm my skin. It did! After two days of washing with it, my skin improved dramatically! I wash with it every night, and in the morning just splash my face with water.
I’ll continue to use, and am now looking at other rms products.

Just a food grade coconut oil
This smells amazing and does feel great on the skin. The packaging does nothing to keep the product hygienic or keep it from getting all over the place in hotter weather.
It's a glorified cooking grade fine coconut oil. There's nothing really special about it and it's pretty expensive for what it is. It claims it won't cause milia....well....I'm not even prone to it and this caused it near my eyes/cheekbones. I had to go to the derm to get them removed.
A resounding meh from a brand I adore.

Good & Not-so-good
Some aspects of this product are great--the quality is good, the packaging is lovely, and it really does its job of taking off my eyeshadow gently--better than expected, and it's a natural product.
Some aspects of this product are not so good--the packaging isn't water tight and the oil always seems to be leaking out and getting all over the packaging (and the counter). It doesn't seem to be any better than warm water for removing my (non-waterproof) mascara. And if I use a healthy amount of the oil to take off my mascara, I wind up with the oil in my eyes (yikes!).
For now I'll use a small swipe of this when I really want to cleanly remove eye shadow, but I'm still back to using warm water on a cotton pad for most of my makeup removal. It's nice to have for days when I need it, but it's not an essential product for me.

Loud smelling
I bought this to use as a massage oil. The smell is overwhelming. It has nice slip and worked well, but the smell is lingering and sickening sweet. I've had other coconut oil products and they were not this potent. And for the price, the container is very small.

A MUST
I use this instead of a moisturizer, and my skin has never looked better. I have combination skin and I’m 48—my fine lines are noticeably softer. My routine is simple: face wash, a Korean hyaluronic acid, kaduku oil, then this. After years of trying expensive products, this combo leaves my skin soft, smooth, and healthy-looking.

Best Face Cleanser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m on my second or third jar of the raw coconut cream! I absolutely love the way it makes my face clean and soft, very hydrating! A lot of cleansers on the market claim to leave your face soft, but out of the literal hundreds I’ve tried, this and the other coconut product from RMS are the only ones to deliver for me. It smells amazing, and I love the way it lasts. I’m thinking about adding this product to a subscription, it’s that good!
