Perfection in a tube!
Aesop is a favorite company and its Rind Body Balm is perfection in a tube. This authentic-smelling citrus balm smooths hands, arms & neck in the morning, legs & ankles later in the day. The refreshing scent is a mood changer; the formula instantly moisturizes and calms dry or sunburned skin. Just wish the scent lasted longer than an hour or two. Luckily, giant tubes are available. I’m in love!

so so overwhelming
I was so excited to try this lotion, the packaging is beautiful, the texture seemed promising… and then I opened it. The scent hit me like a Mediterranean panic attack. Sharp, overwhelming, and bitter in a way that felt more like cleaning spray than luxury skincare.
Within minutes I felt nauseous. I had to shower again just to escape it. Not relaxing. Not nourishing. Just stress in a bottle.
If you are sensitive to scent or if you just don’t want to smell like regret and orange peel despair skip this one. Today I learned that “citrus nausea” exists.

Smells and feels great
Became acquainted with this product on a recent stay at a Ritz Carlton. Used it all weekend and had to get some when we got home. No greasiness and my skin is immediately hydrated. I also use this on my hands and it turns my crone claws into the supple hands of a would-be hand model.

Refreshing citrus!
Such a beautiful body balm! I love to apply this all over after I shower. It smells like somebody is peeling an orange. The fragrance isn't overwhelming at all. The body balm has a really nice medium consistency that will leave you with baby soft skin. Nordstrom please carry this permanently!

Lovely Scent
I love this Aesop Rind Concentrate Body Balm. This time I bought the large 16oz container vs the tube. One gets more bang for your buck and easier to apply. I have sensitive skin and this balm is vegan with wonderful essential oils. I love the way it feels on my skin. The smell is clean and fresh.

DELICIOUS!
Aesop’s Rind Concentrate Body Balm is luxuriously thick but absorbs quickly and easily. It smells amazing and contains all the things I love – lemon, orange, pink grapefruit, almond. Despite its richness, there’s no residue and my dry skin feels hydrated afterwards.

Lovely smell; melts into skin
I am a big fan of the Aesop hand balms but find the tubes are often out of stock. I bought this as a replacement/interim measure and was surprised to find it equally appropriate. It also has a sharp, clean-like smell of citrus (quite a different type of smell to the hand balms), which I find to actually be more subtle too (I feel I can apply this in public without someone two seats away commenting on the smell). The tube is too large to carry around in a handbag - I hope Aesop will do a smaller version for this purpose!
