Rib Sleeve Mixed Media Coat

I bought this in Oatmeal in xl.i don’t think it runs big but true to size. I’m back to pick up the black one also. Simple lines , classy coat

I was nervous about ordering a size down, as suggested, but it fits perfectly. I can't wait until winter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had mixed feelings about this coat that I received in exchange for my honest review. It's well made and feels like a quality piece, but the design just wasn't for me. The first thing I noticed was the oversized asymmetrical collar. It's definitely a statement, but it reminded me a little of a Peter Pan-style collar, which isn't something I would normally choose. I also wasn't expecting the sleeves to be a ribbed sweater-knit material while the body is more of a soft felted fabric. The mixed textures give it a unique look, but it's a combination that may not appeal to everyone. The chocolate brown color is very on trend right now, but personally it's not one of my favorite colors to wear. I also felt like this style would probably be much more flattering on someone with a taller, slimmer frame. On me, the oversized collar felt like it overwhelmed my proportions a bit. That said, the coat is warm, comfortable, and nicely constructed! If you like fashion-forward silhouettes, oversized collars, and mixed-media designs, this could absolutely be your style. It just wasn't the right fit for my personal taste.
