Avalon Canvas Sneaker (Women)

I have such trouble getting a shoe to fit. I have bunions, in different places on both feet so even wide shoe aren't often comfortable But this shoe is what I've been trying to find for years. The toe box is generous, but the heel is normal fitting. There is enough space from sole to top of the shoe that you can't feel the flap stitching or the grommets on the top of your foot. There is an arch support cushion insert in the shoe that is approved by the podiatry association. And boy can you tell! It's cushy, supportive but soft. I usually wear a size 8, but because of bunions I often have to get an 8 1/2. I purchased the 8 D (wide, but the box says 8 D), and I have enough room to wear footie socks in the sneakers and they are still not tight. Usually once I put socks on, forget it. It's adorable as well. Love!

This is a very comfy shoes, and love the black and white. Like the canvas/suede mix. The inner edge of the shoe is very soft, which would be comfy if not wearing socks. I'm normally an 11B/C, and I ordered an 11W because I wanted this for hours and hours of walking in the summer, and wanted to accommodate some feet swelling and/or socks. The W is really really wide, for those of you who need it! The tips of my toes touched the end of the shoe, so I had to return... if it came in 11.5M, I would reorder that, but it doesn't.
