Thickening Shampoo

I think I’ve tried every thickening shampoo and conditioner on the market over the last 20 years, and this is hands down the best. I had Hashimoto’s and then thyroid cancer, and my hair has just never been the same—has always been fine and very wavy but became dull, thin, and brittle. This shampoo and conditioner makes my hair look and feel (feel! My ponytail is thicker) like it used to. I am 52 and never thought my hair would look good again!

I tried this shampoo for the first time yesterday and was up all night with burning skin on my face, especially the area around my eyes. My eyes were not open while shampooing but as soon as the suds touched my face, I felt a strong menthol burning me (like putting vapor rub on your skin). After checking the ingredients, menthol was listed. Although there is a warning to avoid contact with eyes, I would not recommend this shampoo because I feel the ingredient deck is too strong on your skin which you cannot help exposing while shampooing. I also cannot see any difference in my hair but I only used it once, so I cannot comment on that aspect.
