What it is: A luxuriously silky, rose-infused cleansing balm.
Who it's for: All skin types.
What it does: When applied with water, the balm transforms into a rich milk and leaves skin purified, calm and glowing. It gently yet thoroughly melts away dirt and makeup, including waterproof mascara. It protects the skin's defense barrier against everyday environmental stressors, free radicals and pollution. Roman chamomile oil and pink violet leaf extract calm redness and soothe the skin; rose oil provides stress-relieving aromatic and therapeutic properties; and prebiotic oligosaccharides protect and maintain skin's defense barrier by supporting good bacteria. Lecithin helps retain moisture in the skin.
How to use: Warm in the palms of your hands and gently massage over face and neck for a couple of minutes. Add a little water to emulsify into a rich milk. Rinse off with warm water or remove with a muslin cloth.

Finally, I found my favorite cleanser!
I have dry and sensitive skin. I wear makeup pretty much whenever I go out, so gently and perfectly removing foundation and eye makeup at the end of the day is important. I've been using a cream type cleanser which I can only purchase in overseas for more than 10 years and wanted to find similar products that are sold in the states. I love the way 'No. 1 Purity' Cleansing Balm dissolves with foundation and removes dirt, yet doesn't dry out my skin. I apply a quarter size of the balm on my face and massage. In a few minutes, the balm kinda melts on your skin and gets smooth. Once it gets smooth, I massage my eye area gently and remove the eye makeup. The best part of this product is that REN is against animal testing and I support for animal cruelty-free products.

poor packaging
I just finished up my last cleanser a few days ago and went to give this a try and as the substance in side is rather thick when i went to squeeze the tube it kind of exploding which is a bit irritating as i cant use it now. I am sure whats inside is lovely though as all products from REN are,

If only it didn't sting my eyes ...
This is a really lovely and effective balm cleanser with one enormous downfall: it stings your eyes like no other. Considering my intent was to use this as a first cleanse/makeup/sunscreen remover, I needed it to work on the eyes. To be fair, it removed my eye makeup like a dream. The problem came when I tried to open my eye to turn on the faucet or reach for a washcloth.
So, if you only want it as a second cleanse and will studiously avoid the eye area, then it is a luxurious option. If you want it as a first cleanse, you better have eyes of steel.

Great for dry, winter skin
If you like cleansing oils, or use a cleansing milk, you should give the Ren Balm a try. It has a beautiful rose scent and melts onto your skin and effectively removed makeup without drying.
This product is fabulous for those living in colder winter climates.

like omg wow
i must say i didn't think so highly of this might work but my skin is like a baby now it helped my acne and redness and took every single bit of make up off. i been having skin problems since Xmas redness sensitivity and funny painful acne. this helped my acne calm down cleaned without stripping , pores clear makeup clear leaving soft radiated and moisturizing the eyes! thats a bonus , its like roses in heavy on your face , dont feel like a pain to wash your face anymore, trying to get the grim dirt and make up off and get a deep clean. little goes a long way .!

My favorite cleansing balm
Love this balm! Eve Lom and Elemis made my skin break out. (I've read that almond base in the Elemis balm can be problematic for acne prone skin...it caused a couple of cystic acne spots on me.) REN Purity Balm is perfect for my face. Thoroughly removes makeup and my face feels clean without being tight. I typically follow up with a sweep of cleansing water and I'm good to go!

Love this stuff!
I'm 43 with normal skin but my skin was feeling tight and dull. After doing a lot of research I came across this product and WOW!! My skin feels super clean after washing with the balm but dosnt feel tight at all. It feels balanced and has luminosity. I'm glowing. The smell is really nice with a rose herby kinda scent. Recommend highly!!!
