What it is: A soothing face mask that instantly reduces redness, irritation, itchiness and inflammation.

Who it's for: Anyone with reactive, sensitive, irritated or normal skin exposed to stressful conditions such as sunburn, windburn or jet lag.

What it does: It reduces redness, irritation and inflammation while instantly de-stressing and rebalancing skin to its pre-stressed state. White mushroom extract, a natural painkiller, stops pain and itchiness on contact. Your skin is left perfectly calm and comfortable.

Research results:
In a study of 30 female consumers between ages 30 and 70:
- 90% stated their skin felt calmer after 24 hours.

How to use: Use three times per week or anytime your skin is in need of urgent rescue. Apply a generous amount onto clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes. Gently remove any excess with a damp cloth or cotton pad. Follow with your usual skin care routine.

Relaxing

This is such a nice soothing mask, I’ve not used anything like this before but this has simply transformed my routine. I like to leave it on for around ten minutes, it is easily absorbed by the skin and what I love the most is the skincare actives in this product which really.boost its properties. It helps with my occasional breakouts.

Stanks! Plus I had an odd reaction to this mask

This mask (as with other “calming” products from REN) has a very strong odor. Also I had an immediate burning/itchy reaction to this product. I was a little surprised since it’s supposed to be for sensitive skin? Needless to say, I’ll be returning it (along with the protection day cream that made me breakout). 0 for 2

Very Soothing

I have an autoimmune condition which is sometimes reflected in my skin becoming red, sore and sensitive. I tried this mask on one such occasion, leaving it for over an hour as I'd become engrossed in a book. It has a pleasantly light herbal scent and feels cool upon application. No tingling and after removal, I felt the redness had reduced significantly which is exactly the effect I was after.

Lives up to the name!

Love this skin saviour - I use it when my skin is feeling rough and sensitive, for example if I've used a strong acid or retinol product and my skin is reacting badly. It has a calming scent and a greenish tint, which dries clear when applied. Works well when left on for 10-15 minutes as per the instructions, but I also like to leave the mask on overnight to further aid barrier repair. Leaves my skin velvety soft and soothed.

Ren Comforting mask

I love this brand and I got this product for a specific reason - to use it after my retinol, as I have just transitioned to a higher dose. I had a red and irritated face after it so this mask was bought in hope to calm the redness and irritation. After the first use, I could see the results. The face had no redness and felt very nurtured in the morning (I use it overnight), fresh and hydrated. Highly recommend this mask for everyone struggling with irritated skin barrier !

Great mask!

I've been put off from using masks as I think they can be quite drying and harsh on the skin. I've used a lot of the Ren Evercalm products so I decided to give this a try. I've only used it a couple of times, but it hasn't irritated my skin or broke me out. It leaves the skin feeling smooth. I would need to test for a longer period of time to see long term effects, but so far so good

Soothing and gentle on sensitive skin

Since adopting a more comprehensive skincare regime I find my skin doesn't suffer as it used to and is overall more balanced, but over winter sometimes it needs a little pick me up, which this mask does well. I don't have to worry that it will be harsh on my sensitive skin or when my skin is irritated, because this is very gentle. It is thick and has a subtle fragrance, and my skin feels smoother and more supple and moisturised after use. It does feel very thick and a little greasy so I don't love it, but the effect is great and you don't need to keep it on for long anyway.
