Relaxed Waist Wide Leg Trousers

Tried these on and loved almost everything about them – cute, comfortable, and good quality. The problem: at 5’7, I would’ve needed to wear a high heel to avoid dragging. Definitely could’ve made it work with the right shoes, but decided to pass in the end to opt for something more versatile. Average/short height ladies keep this in mind!

I really, really wanted to love these because I could use a comfortable pair of pants in this beige/tan color but they just weren’t flattering on my body type. I would say if you are tall and curvy as in have a small waist but larger butt and hips they will look amazing but I’m pretty much one line, don’t have a defined waistline and have pretty thin legs so they just made me look larger than I am and didn’t fit my body type. I will say, the fabric is good, thick, they are definitely very wide legged and they are also long. I’m 5’9 and usually between a 12 and 14. I bought the 14 which had plenty of room with the elastic waistband but they were too baggy in my hips and legs

I got these pants in black and my usual size small, I'm normally a 4. There's some extra room in the waist but I don't mind bc sometimes I eat too much and I'm happy to have some extra space ;-) I'm 5'7 and these are crazy long, even in heels but I used Nordstrom alterations included with your Nordstrom credit card and had them hemmed. Now they are absolutely perfect for me. Fingers crossed caribou brown gets restocked. Super comfy!

I am tall with a defined waist and a relatively ample behind. I normally have issues with a trouser fitting my hips but gaping at the back of the waist. The elasticized waist at the back of the pants is perfect and really helps to show my curves but the wide leg fit also makes it work appropriate. Definitely recommend if you're tall. There is also the option to alter which I will only take advantage of if I decide to wear this with a flatter shoe.
