Ava Colorblock Belted Pleated Midi Skirt

I very much wanted to like this item because I'm looking for something for work that looks and fits like what is shown on the model. Unlike the model, however, I am 5' 4" and this skirt is simply a maxi skirt on me, it is not a midi-skirt. For those of you who may not have noticed (I did not until I recieved it), this skirt is held up by a zipper and not an elastic, which usually makes the fit a bit more complicated. In this case, it was well enough for me and I was willing to look past the zipper, had it not been for the length. Last, FYI this skirt is not lined. I had a difficult time managing all the fabric while walking with it because static made the copious amount of fabric stick everywhere to my legs.
