very flattering dress
The material is different than I expected and slightly more sheer than I thought but I think I will be fine with beige undergarments. The fit if very flattering. I am 5’8” and weigh 140 lbs for reference and ordered size 4.

Why is this so expensive?
I was expecting this dress to be high-end, heavy fabric material with a beautiful lace detail at the top. I imagined Kentucky Derby meets gorgeous tea party, but it's giving me Walmart night gown.
First off, the dress runs large. Second, the material is not thick or luxurious, but rather cheap polyester material like a $9 dress from Forever 21. The lace detail was all crumpled so you couldn't even see it. How HOW is this dress this much for what it is??

Dress Details leave a lot to be desired
Let me start by saying I kept the dress. It’s current at the tailor’s right now, but not for the reasons you would think. The dress is beautiful and true to size, which is ultimately why I kept it; however the finer details were disappointing. The adjustable straps on the back of the right size were sewed on backwards and the lace detail on the front was uneven. For this price point, I really expect close to perfection on small things like that. Those mistakes are the kind you find on Shein for a $20 garment.
Again, the dress itself was beautiful and flattering so I opted to pay for the alterations, but I shouldn’t have needed to.

sized up from normal reformation dress size
I think it runs pretty true to size, however if you have wider hips compared to your waists/shiulders, I’d size up. I normally wear a 0 in reformation, but got a 2 in this due to the cut of the dress. It’s tighter around the hips compared to other silhouettes from the brand.

Quality issue
I’m so disappointed. This dress doesn’t look like the photos at all. Also it’s made with very cheap fabric. The quality of fabric is the same or even lower than Temu or amazon. This dress shouldn’t cost more than $20-30. Returned it.

Pretty Dress
I bought this dress to wear for an outdoor wedding in the summer. The fabric is on the thinner side but I wanted something not too heavy for an outdoor event in the heat. I originally bought a size 4 but needed a size 6 due to the bust size I’m a 34DD.
