Gae Knee High Boot

I love, love this boots. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is the difficulty of pulling it out from my feet. I had to get help from pulling it out, else I wouldn’t have been able to. I am usually a size 6.5, but I always go up a 1/2 or 1 size up. I am 5’5 and weigh 156 pounds and I bought size 7. I am not sure if I should reorder it in size 7.5 instead. Has any one had difficulty in pulling out their boots or is just me. I have not seen any one writing a review yet. Its looks like I am the first one to do so. I usually don’t write reviews, but I am doing it for the first time since I started shopping from Nordstrom for about 15 years now. In fact, I really love the boots and would love to keep it, but please any advice on the easiest way to pull it out? Thank you

Awesome! Was pleasantly surprised.

The boots are beautiful in terms of their overall style/form, and they arrived unworn, nicely packaged, etc. I find the fit to be true and comfortable. My calves are a bit muscular so they hug through the shaft but are not tight. That being said, the boots themselves should not have passed quality control. There is a split seam of leather on the back of one heel, something that cannot be repaired. There is also a cosmetic irregularity in the leather on the ankle of the other boot. I was excited but these are disappointing.

These boots are truly gorgeous, but they are a bit uncomfortable in terms of walking, moving around in them due to the shaft of the boot being pretty stiff. I will be returning due to that issue, but I do wish I could've kept them as they really are beautiful boots with a great price tag. I also want to mention that you should size up half a size. I am a true size 9, and I always get a size 9.5 in Reformation boots because they run narrow/small at the toe.
