Reese City Dry^™ Waterproof Platform Penny Loafer (Women)

I’m a fan of La Canadienne. I have many pairs and styles that I’m happy with. They don’t require any “breaking in” period. I’ll continue to buy their boots. BUT, I really regret spending so much money on this specific shoe. This loafer style does not fit me well: 1. Slips off. I wear them with socks and the inner lining material is too slippery. The shoe slips off my heel constantly. 2. Leather is too hard. It doesn’t flex or stretch. So after a day of walking and standing, these shoes feel so tight. I thought sizing down from 6.5 to 6 would help, but it didn’t. Super sad now. Wish I had returned it earlier, instead of trying to “break them in”. On a positive note, the loafer is waterproof and good in the rain. La Canadienne shoes are great with their waterproofing!
