Reef First Bed Folding Bassinet

This is a high quality bassinet. One of the big advantages is that this is an overnight approved bassinet. Everything about this is high quality. Definitely would recommend.

This is a luxury gift to give mama's out there. Its luxury and one of the best out there. Excited for my friend and her new baby to used it.

Beautiful pram but not worth the cost for the features. As noted by others it scratches very easily and given its luxury appearance it looks worse than other brands when scratched. When it comes to the bassinet, the mattress cover is not simple to wash, the sun coverage is not sufficient compared to others on the market and ventilation not good enough. Looks like they took away the sun sail feature on this model and I emailed seeing if I could purchase but didn’t not get a response. Wheels are not all terrain and create a bumpy ride esp for an infant. Wish they had the Coast over here or I had waited for the Cove. Ultimately feel I should have gone with bugaboo or nuna.

After considering nearly every manufacturer, we decided on Silver Cross and were absolutely impressed! The outstanding craftsmanship is evident and the attention to detail really sets this product apart. Extremely easy to assemble and use is intuitive and quite simple. We are very pleased with this exceptional stroller!

I have both the Reef 2 and the Wave and while they both have their pros and cons, I love them both. I’ll compare but they are not apples to apples. I keep the Wave at home and keep the Reef in the car. I physically looked and played around with every luxury stroller and these two stood out. The Reef folds beautifully and is much sturdier than all the comparable strollers out there. I’ve not used the seat with the reef yet because I predominantly use it for running errands/shopping/travel so the car seat goes in it, but the one hand fold is amazing and easy when I have my other arm full; the Wave is a two-handed fold it so that’s a game changer. The basket is significantly smaller than the wave, but still bigger than a lot of other baskets. The straps on the seats both have the genius latch, and leather wrapped bumper bars. The bassinets are overnight so you can use them instead of buying a travel crib (we used the bassinet on our Wave more than any other item we’ve purchased, other than diapers; we didn’t get one for the Reef because we use the Wave so much and our house is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops so we only use the reef when we take the car. about. Also both handles telescope really far which is great for my husband at 6’3. Here are the key differences I’ve noticed as an owner of both: Reef: One-hand fold One-hand seat removal Large basket for a medium sized stroller Large wheels with visible shocks. Wave: Two-hand fold Two-hand seat removal Large basket that will hold a lot Sturdy with large wheels, easily goes over uneven and/or rocky terrain.
