'Postman' Oxford

The Red Wing Heritage line usually runs a little large, but in this case, it doesn't seem to be so. I am a 9-9.5 in most shoes (Vans being my daily), and my Red Wing boots fit great at an 8.5, but these fit the same as the boots in a 9.5. i would still recommend trying them on first if possible. Also, they run narrow, I think this is why I had to go a bit larger. Once you get the sizing right you're going to be very happy with this shoe. Incredibly comfortable and shock absorbant, just know it will take an uncomfortable break-in period to get them just right. They look great, from the side a little bit strange, but from the top and front they look like a very nice dress shoe.

These shoes are top quality in construction and finish. I'm guessing they will last many years.

After trying many shoes, many of which were almost twice the price, it dawned on me, why not ask the postman? This is what he recommended, and for me, it's the most comfortable shoe out there and one that's very well made!

I bought the last two pairs when they went out of production and have worn holes in the last pair. I have been wearing red wing boots and shoes since 1988 and would drive to the red wing store in Red Wing MN from the twin cities to pick up just to stand next to the big boot. I have been looking for the postman in 10 1/2D for 2 years and can't find them anywhere. Please bring these shoes back because these are the only shoes that are still comfortable after walking up stairs all day when inspecting elevators all day. We are a 3rd generation elevator constructor family so the red wing brand has been passed down including the slip on boots, steel toes, postman, and hunting boots.

These are great looking shoes. I think you guys should offer more colors like a brown leather.

I bought these a few years ago and am very sad that you no longer offer this shoe. They were dressy and very comfortable, so why did you discontinue them?? Please bring them back.
