Classic Red Wing
This boot is great. It is a bit darker than the description but a great boot. Be sure to size down. I did my research and went into a local Red Wing store to get measured and I am measured at a size 13. Tried on the 12 and it was still loose. He mentioned that the leather will stretch a bit so i needed to get a snug fit and the 11.5 was a perfect fit. So I ordered the 11.5 and they came I today and fit like a glove. So I would definitely recommend that you size down at least a full size. Overall these will look amazing in dark jeans and a tee shirt.

Not charcoal
The boot is black, not charcoal. The box says charcoal but its black, just like the pair I bought online last year. And it was pretty beat up when I got it too. I am returning these.

You can't go wrong with this boot
I did a lot of research and reading reviews online from various sites to find the "Perfect Boot". My criteria were that they had to give me good ankle support due to a bad left hip (Fractured serving in Marines) and recently rebuilt right knee (ACL blowout from motocross). Second, it had to be a boot that looked as good as it was durable; why I usually buy ecco boots and danner boots, all of which I also recommend to friends. And the last thing is they had to be made in America. These boots came in first hands down on all accounts. I was very pleased to find them at Nordstrom where I just picked up a pair. The cost reflects a more than fair price for what you're getting.

Couldn't pass up Nordstrom's sale price on these- almost 100.00 less than normal price!! Red Wing sizing is a little strange, be prepared to size down. Most of the time I'll wear a size 12 in "inferior shoes" but I take a 10 in these boots. This particular boot in charcoal is the rough and tough leather- it will take a while to break in, but trust me, the end result is worth it. I already own these boots in a different color / leather. I stand on concrete all day long and my feet LOVE these boots. So do I- they are timelessly stylish.

Best boots period
These boots are perfect in every-way. Be prepared there is a break in period and I found them true to size. Do not buy smaller size than your regular fitting.

Great looking Boot
We bought these for our son who lives in Boston and he loves them. He also appreciates the "look" now that he's got the beard and slicked back hair! One hint though….they run about 1/2 size big.
