Red Wing's are great
I bought these boots because it was simply the best deal I could find for Red Wing heritage classic moc boots. I normally wear a 10.5 2e in my iron rangers, so I tried a 10.5... and it was just too narrow for me, so I exchanged them for a 11 and that was perfect. This is a great boot that looks great dressed up or down. The black chrome leather is very smooth and of excellent quality. I love the leather footbed which molds to your foot. Break in period was not bad as I found an easier way... I used Obenauf's leather preservative right out of the box before breaking them in, and I noticed that it helped the leather in all the high stress areas not look so wrinkled. The only draw back I could find is how quickly the white wedge soles get dirty. But overall I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks Nordstroms.

Nice but not for workers
The boots look nice but they don’t hold up to actual trade work. Soles wore out in 5 months. I can get a year out of much less expensive boots. I bought wides and they run narrow. I think these are for fashion not work.

All black everything cos it goes with Everything
These boots looks simple enough... they're called Black Chrome since they are chunky with a bit of a oil shine on them. Was looking for something black since I wear jeans and leather jackets almost all the time and these fit right in. I imagine I could wear these all year round as they look good with shorts too.
Very stiff leather means you will have to break em in but that's part of the fun, isn't it. I would have liked them to be a little bit wider at the widest point of the foot. They are true to size on the fit but they will look half a size larger from the outside because they are so chunky and the thickness of the leather.
These do look great and they aren't widely worn yet which is a good thing for me.

Just buy / your true size.
Great boots. Look & feel great, but buy your true size. I listened those who said size down & now my left foot's in pain. Never again. Keep it simple. Buy yer true size.

Excellent Quality
The shoes is definitely a high quality made boots, the only issue I have is it's a little too big, I got myself a shoe inserts and it now fits pretty good, but the shoes still take a bit more break in before it's going to be comfortable. As of now it's still hurt when I walk for too long, but overall I am still satisfied with the boots.

Perfection
Bought these 1907 models and took a couple weeks to fully break in. They come extremely stiff and will rub your heels raw, but it will be worth it once you feel like sleeping in them. The crepe soles wear out quite fast, so if they need resoling take them to the nearest red wing store and they will handle it all for around 80 bucks. Use mink oil to preserve these beauties and soften them up. Size down a size for they run big. I would personally try before buy. Goes great with black and indigo selvedge jeans. These boots will last, the more use, the better looking it will become.

Weird Sizing...
I have the Red Wing Classic Moc in copper which is the 1907. A 9 fits great (I usually wear a 9.5), so I ordered this boot in a 9 as well. It was too big though. The black Classic Moc is the Red Wing 8130... for whatever reason even though these boots look nearly identical other than color, they are made with different lasts; so they fit different.
I ordered a size 8.5 instead since the 9 was too big and it was too small! I was bummed out cause I love my 1907's and wanted a black pair.
Also... contrary to the online description, these boots do not come with raw hide laces. Only the copper Classic Mocs come with rawhide laces.
5 stars for look/style and 2 stars for weird fit... so I give them a 3. If they fit you, then definitely buy them.
