You can use it in the shower and also remove it and use it outside of the shower. It is safe for daily use. The only thing is to never look straight into the red lights. There is a pair of glasses to cover your eyes if you want to do red light therapy outside of the shower. But it gives a full spectrum cover of infrared light in the shower and since you shower nude you get your whole body covered and treated. It comes with a remote and timer on it for how long you want to use the red-light and you can start it again if you want to. The duration times are 5, 10 and 15 minutes and you can use as long as you want. It is very easy to charge and also comes with a type C charger and there is a 2 dot light on the shower head infrared light circular removable part that flashes while charging and when it stops flashing it is fully charged and same with the remote.
