Megan Leather Tote

I have used this for less than 5 months. And the pictures tell the story here. The bottom of the bag has multiple scuff marks and it looks like a bag that is at least 5 years old and has been used every day. I take it to work probably once every 2 weeks so over the last 5 months it has probably been used 10-12 days. The kind of wear that the pictures show is not something that is expected after being used for just 10-12 days! I have a Michael Kors bag which is over 5 years old and is used every day of the week and has zero scuff marks. This is my first Rebecca Minkoff purchase and it is going to be my last for sure.

Not my favorite, but the leather looks nice and the interior is pretty. Ultimately returned because it would tip over while driving at times and everything falls out. No zippers and you have to have many individual organizing bags to keep your stuff easy to find and from marking up the interior.

I love using totes in the winter months because I feel like I need to carry more stuff with me than I do during the warm seasons. I like to be able to throw a pair of gloves and even a scarf I took off, etc. In there. So totes work best for me when I need to carry more items and this tote is really nice. It's a perfect size and shape. It's very flattering and hangs nicely under your arm even with the heavy coat on it's roomy and just so cool looking. Love the external phone pocket as well as the magnetic closure which you don't even need to do up because the magnets find each other and snap closed most of the time on their own. The leather is nice and pebbled and feels durable. I got this bag almost 3 weeks ago, switched into it the same day I got and haven't changed out of it since which says alot because I try to rotate the bags in my collection frequently. Highly recommend it. Thinking of getting it in either brown or merlot which is the color Nordstrom sadly doesn't carry but RM site does and it's another great fall/winter color. Side note, if you don't like the leather string you can remove it like I did. It was stitched together but I cut one stitch and untied it from the hardware. You can easily add it back on if you want as well. Love it!!
