Edie Quilted Leather Convertible Crossbody Bag

This is a beautiful bag, lovely soft leather, elegant black hardware. But, it’s a real undertaking to open it. There is a magnet closure under the snap which closes the bag regardless of whether one also closes the “dog clip.” The two parts of the magnet closure stick together unbelievably hard. You literally need to pry them apart with a tool or a fingernail (lost two nails today in that manner). It’s highly inconvenient to have to wrestle with opening the bag in a store or restaurant. And if you also close the metal clip forget about it. The clip has to be turned into just the right position and then held in that position (it spins around) with one hand while trying to open it with the other hand. Insane!
