Unfortunately these won’t work and I have to return. Even with proper socks with a higher rise these rubbed on the back of my ankle until I was miserable by the end of the run. It’s a shame because the style and colors are so neat and the sizing is correct.

Great walking shoes, run small
I love the Pegasus Trail 3 so I was excited to try the 4. These shoes are very comfortable if you get right size. I took them on my trip to New York City and walked all day without any pain. They run smaller than the 3. I’m usually a 9 in women. I bought a 9 in these and they are not comfortable, I’ve tried multiple times but I can’t wear them all day. I ended up buying a 9.5 and they are what I was hoping the fit would be when I first bought them. I took the 9.5 on vacation.

Extremely poor durability
The quality of the show cushion near the lace knot is extremely poor. While I loved the fit and appearance of this shoe, finding it very comfortable for walking and running, the cushion wore out within a week of use. Thinking it might be an issue with just one pair, I returned it and ordered another one due to the comfort. Unfortunately, the second pair also got damaged after just a few uses.
