Lightweight Hooded Rain Jacket

I’m 5’7, 200 lbs with a weightlifter physique. I purchased the L/XL and it fits very well, particularly at the shoulders. I can wear a hoodie and/or sweatshirt underneath and still have unrestricted movement. The only drawback for me is the single snap at the wrists. My sleeve length is 33 in and the single snap only allows for a minimal closure on my wrists. The sleeves on this jacket are a bit long for my arms and the single snap doesn’t fully prevent the sleeve from slipping past my wrists.

I give 5 stars even though I had to return it. This jacket is very well made with thoughtful touches, like the visored hood. This is a unisex jacket, and didn't quite work for my short and (ahem) womanly body. I got the S/M, and it was very big in the shoulders, sleeves too long (pretty normal for me and not a big deal), and just a tad tight in the chest, which would have been problematic if I were to wear a heavy sweater underneath. I liked the color: not navy but not bright blue. The matte finish was nice too. If you're a woman with a straighter body type, this will probably work for you, and I highly recommend!

This is exactly what I have been looking for. It's roomy enough so I can layer clothing underneath to stay warm and dry in damp, cold rainy weather and also to keep the air circulating in light clothing during warm, humid rainy weather. The small visor attached on the front of the hood is quite effective in reducing the amount of "splash" in mildly gusty wind and the simple snaps close the jacket thoroughly and easily which is useful when you need to put it on or take it off due to a sudden change of weather. The silver color is striking enough to be noticeable in grey weather and doesn't disappear in an urban surrounding in a sea of dull, muted tones, yet isn't so intense as to startle or distract. What can I say? I love it. Perfect here for Seattle or anywhere else.

This is a unisex jacket and I ordered the x-small/small. I'm between a small and medium in rain jackets, but this appeared to be a boxier fit on top from the photos. I gave it a shot placed the x-small order. It fits perfectly well. I have enough room to wear a thick jacket underneath. It does the job as described and keeps the rain out. The curved silhouette at the bottom is a nice design. I got plenty of compliments my first week wearing it in Seattle. The neck enclosure also gives you breath ability. The color in the photo is also very accurate to the rain jacket. If you're a female, order a size down.
